Hello there! We’re a warm and easygoing German/Luxembourgish family living in a charming German suburb of Basel, Switzerland, and we’re excited to welcome an au pair into our home. With Dad traveling often for work, we’re looking for someone special to help Mom out and bring a little extra joy to our family life.

We believe in creating a win-win experience - we want to help you grow personally (and learn a new language) while you assist with light household tasks and spend time with our kids (on a limited timely basis). Plus, you’ll have your own cozy guesthouse to enjoy, giving you the perfect space for relaxation and privacy.

Having lived in several countries, including the US, we love sharing our diverse experiences and learning from others. We hope to find an au pair who is:

Independent: We are looking for someone who can manage their own time effectively and take initiative in planning activities for the kids. Equally important is your ability to create a fulfilling life outside of our family. We encourage you to explore the local area, pursue personal interests, and engage with friends, as we believe this balance will enrich both your experience and ours.

Kind and Caring: It’s important to us that you genuinely enjoy spending time with children. We want someone who will create a nurturing environment filled with warmth and affection.

Playful: A joy for playing and engaging with our children is essential! We’re looking for someone who can bring creativity into playtime, whether through games, crafts, or outdoor activities.
