Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Dear Nanny/Au Pair,

My wife and I are doctors. We have recently moved from the UK to Perth, Australia. We live in the very nice suburb of Nedlands, which is close to the Swan river and the beach. We live in a large house with our 3 children. There is a nice swimming pool attached to the house and an outdoor area to enjoy on sunny days. There are nearby shops about a 2 minute walk away. There are excellent public transport links to the city centre and other parts of Perth.

Job Description

We are looking for a live in nanny. We need help looking after our 3 children - dropping them at school and looking after our daughter during the day. Some days she will be at nursery. We will need help 4 days a week with school drop offs and pick ups as well as looking after our daughter when she is not at nursery. Our nanny will also need to be able to look after the 2 older children after school, if we are not home, and help out around the house with light house work and preparing meals.

It would be ideal, but not essential if they can drive. We are looking for someone to work around 30 hours per week for around $400-450 per week. We would pay for all the food etc. You have your own room and bathroom. Our house has a pool and is a short walk to the river. It would be ideal if the nanny/au pair had previous experience and can speak basic English, but we are happy to help them learn.
