Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

We are currently living in the beautiful Kootenays region of British Columbia, in a rural community nestled in the mountains and by a beautiful lake. We are looking for an Au Pair to help with our two young children, around the house and for meal prep/cooking. At home we mostly speak English, however we would like our children to also speak Spanish and French - it would be ideal to find an Au Pair that speaks all three languages if possible (however not a requirement). We are looking for support in the summer months (mid-June until end of August).

Duties would include: childcare - doing educational and recreational activities with our children, being a warm nurturing presence for them, helping tidy around the house (common areas, childrens's rooms, washing and folding children's clothes), cooking (meal preparation and/or cooking, grocery shopping).

Our AuPair will have their own large private room and a bathroom. Internet (wifi) is accessible as is all of our online media libraries (netflix, disney plus, amazon prime, spotify). The Au Pair will have full access to all of the common areas of the house (large living room, kitchen, our outdoor property which includes 7 acres of garden, creeks, forest and access to the lake).
