Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hi Aupair,

We are a french family who used to live in Australia before covid. We have 2 young girls with the older (8 yo) who understand English (basics) but who is too shy to speak. We live very close to the Paris center (12 min by train) and the area where we are is pleasant and safe, family oriented, with a lot of playground and of course a bakery at 2 min walk. :). We need some help for when we will be travelling in Dallas for work with my husband and we found having you in Paris to enjoy the city and start knowing the family and the girls would be a big help before we go to Dallas together.

Job Description

The job in Dallas will be picking up the girl at the summer camp by walk or public transport. Play with them, and make them dinner before putting them to bed, on weekends it will just be games and activities. We do not foresee you working more than 5 days a week, but we cannot know yet the exact schedule, and it might not be always the same weekdays off.
In Paris in May, it will be picking up Juliette in school(3 min walk) and taking Charlotte to her sport class. Helping on the dinner sometimes, and 1 babysitting evening a week. The rest of the time will be free for classes and looking around Paris.

Accommodation

In Paris, you will have your own bedroom, but we only have a bathroom in the flat, we will have to share it, we will provide you a monthly pass for the paris public transport. We live 12 min by train to the center of Paris, the train station is about 5 min walk from our house. The suburb is residential and it is a nice area, with a lot of young families. In Dallas, we are hopping on having a bigger house so you will be able to have your own bathroom and bedroom too.
