Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Dear au pair,
we are an italian family with 3 children; our eldest son doesn't live at home with us in the actual time, which leaves us with the two youngest and three cats. We are looking for an english native language girl to help us with our two children (9 and 11 years old). We would like to give them the opportunity to know other cultures and to learn to speak english fluently. We are at the moment hosting our second aupair this year and really enjoyed the experience!
We live at less than 15 minutes by train from the city center of Milano, in a town called Bollate. Your working time would start most of the time at 4.30 pm when the children leave school, and end around 9 pm four days per week, and sometimes saturday or sunday afternoon (with flexibility depending on school vacation and sports activity). Your tasks would be: babysitting, including taking the children from school and to sport activity, sometimes preparing dinner to them, and help them tidy up their room.
A car can be available for your movements (most of the time)

Job Description

two days a week you’ll have to take the children to school at 8,25, the other days you would be free until 4.30pm, then you will have to take the children from school and sometimes take them to their extracurricular activities (they are learning to play piano, Beatrice is learning skating, and Tommaso plays waterpolo in the local team). Sometimes the grandparents will take the children themselves, which would leave you free for the afternoon.
Sometimes we would ask you to look after the children in saturday or sunday afternoon, if my husband and I decide to go for a motorcycle ride. Otherwise during the weekend we are busy with scout activities, school homeworks, sometimes playdates...
Your tasks would be: babysitting, including taking the children from school and to sport activity, sometimes preparing dinner to them, and help them tidy up their room.
We also will expect you to involve the children into english conversations, since our main purpose is that they learn to speak english!
