Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hi! We are the Grady Family! Mom is Micaela, Dad is Ryan and our one year old is Elijah, but we call him Eli. He will be 2 when we start with a new Au Pair. We will be adding a baby to our family in July! Micaela is a student at school in Bologna, and Ryan works for the military. We are an American family living in Italy, looking to immerse our children in culture and share our family with the right person! In the US we had 2 Au Pairs - one from South Africa and one from Spain. We love sharing our home, culture, and family with our Au Pairs and would be so happy to share with another Au Pair soon.

Job Description

First, we want you to become a part of our family, to share in kindness and compassion, and to show our children affection and attention. We are looking for someone who has experience with children under 3 and infants. The schedule will vary based off of Micaela's university schedule, but it will be predictable once classes start. Some help around the house keeping the children's area clean are important, and acting as a member of the family. You will never be expected to clean or cook, but you are always welcome to if you want. The safety of our children is the most important thing we expect out of our Nanny or Au Pair. We also expect open communication so we can resolve any problems as they arise.
