Greetings from our cozy home in Brühl, Germany! Our house is located on a quiet, child-friendly street, just a short walk from shops and restaurants. The charming pedestrian zone of Brühl invites you to stroll around, while nearby cities like Cologne (with over a million residents) and Bonn are easily accessible by tram, offering plenty of cultural experiences.

Family is at the heart of our lives, and we don’t see you just as a caregiver but as a valued family member and friend. In return, we offer you a warm and welcoming environment, the opportunity to be part of our family adventures, and the chance to build lasting connections across borders.

We are looking for an au pair who will join us for at least six months and enrich our lively family life.

Job Description

Your main tasks will include accompanying the children to kindergarten, helping out when the daycare is closed, running errands such as grocery shopping, and—most importantly—sharing joyful moments with our family.

Our busiest times of the day are definitely the mornings when we all get ready for the day and the afternoons when we are still working (we both work a lot from home). Since spending quality time with our children is very important to us, we are happy to share responsibilities and activities with you to ensure that each child receives individual attention and care.

We strive to keep our home clean and organized and hope that you share our appreciation for tidiness.

Do you enjoy cooking? We’d love to learn more about your local cuisine! Not a fan of cooking? That’s perfectly fine too.
Either way, it would be great if you enjoy healthy and mostly vegetarian food, as that’s what we prefer.

Would you like to try a new hobby or refine a skill? We’ve got you covered! Your stay with us should be a memorable experience, and we are here to support your interests and passions.
And don’t worry—a language course is a must during your stay with us, and it’s fully included!

We live in a beautiful, modern home where you will have your own private room, fully equipped with everything you need for comfort and relaxation.

Additionally, you will have access to a shared bathroom, which is mainly used by the children for a short time each day, ensuring plenty of privacy and convenience for you.

You will have high-speed WiFi, a TV with Prime Video and Netflix, and a speaker with a Spotify account for your entertainment. Feel at home and make use of all the amenities our house has to offer during your stay.
