Welcome Letter to the Au Pair
We are looking for a warm-hearted and reliable au pair for our 2 children, a boy and a girl. We want you to speak English to our kids which is why we are looking for someone who is either a Native Speaker or knows the language very very well.
We live in a town located between a lake and a mountain. Bregenz is in the very west of Austria. Germany and Switzerland are close. There are a lot of possibilities for outside activities. We live in a house with a garden overlooking the lake. All very picturesque. There is a cable car going up the mountain. Sledging in winter is possible right behind our house. We also go skiing. In summer we like to go swimming, riding the bike etc. In general we like to take the kids outside. Right behind our house is a forest to explore.
We like to travel and move around. So it won't get boring in our house (:
Job Description
You will be spending time with the kids on your own as well as together with us, help get them ready in the morning, sometimes pick them up from Kindergarden, prepare easy meals and help put them to bed. The kids spend time outside the house as much as possible, they love playing in the rain. So pack your rain clothes as well. We don't want them to watch TV too often. So be ready to play games, read books and do anything creative you can think of. No limits there (:
We are quite active and you will be more than welcome to join us on our trips. Bregenz is a very safe neighborhood. You will get an Au Pair contract (this is all regulated by the State, 18h per week), your own room and bathroom on basically your own floor in the house. There will be plenty of free time and payed holiday leave.
