Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Dear future AuPair,

we, a german-spanish family of four (and our furry family member) live in the beautiful North of Germany. We are looking for an aupair to share a beautiful time with us in Germany and as part of our household. We offer you a spacious private room (ca. 25 qm) with balcony on the top floor of our house. The floor will only be used by you. We live in a big city with about 600.000 inhabitants, our house is close to the city centre. Public transportation is available close by.

We are looking for an aupair that likes to stay with us for 12+ months, as we are looking forward to fully integrate you into the family and become a stable part of our kids everyday life and give you the opportunity to really experience the German language and culture.

Job Description

Since we both work full time, we are looking for an aupair who is willing to do pick ups and drop offs of our younger sons as well as the occasional afternoon on the playground. Our kids have no special needs or disabilities. Cooking a meal every now and then or taking the smaller one to bed occasionally would be part of your duties, even though one of us is usually home in the afternoon. Since we have a big dog (Labrador mix), you should not be afraid of or allergic to dogs. He is a very kind and lovely family dog with no issues with new faces and he is part of our daily routine and is allowed everywhere in the house.

Accommodation

We have a fully prepared spacious room of about 25 qm with your own balcony for you on the top floor of our house. The bathroom is shared with our sons. The room is suited with a king-size bed, desk, makeup table and seating area as well as plenty of wardrobe space. Visitors are allowed, sleepover is not. Smoking is allowed on the balcony.
