Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello!! We are Anna and Matteo, we are urgently looking for a girl with EU passport and driving license (manual transmission). You will have a brand new apartment all to yourself above ours. The main task will be to pick up the 2 older children from school, bring them to sports/music activities and then come back home. We will welcome you like a elder sister and will do our best to make you feel at home ☺️

Job Description

I would like you to be like a big sister and we will do everything we can to make you feel comfortable with us and with the children. Hosting an au pair is a great opportunity to teach children about hospitality and to learn about new languages and cultures. We offer flexible employment of 20/30 hours per week, the pocket money will be agreed together.
This is a typical day:
At 8 we all leave for school or work. The children leave school at 15.30-16.00 to go to music/sports lessons or to play at the playground and then we all meet at home around 18.00-18.30. While mum or dad cooks, the other parent plays with the children. We have dinner together around 19.00-19.30 and then we spend an evening together: reading, music, puppet show or a cartoon. Then everyone goes to bed.
The aupair's main task would be to pick up the kids from school and take them to sports/playground, bring them home and entertain them before dinner (3-3.5 hours a day). 2 evenings a week she should stay with them while we are in church (max 6 hours a week). The hours to be made up would be for emergencies/special occasions to be agreed upon together. Sunday is always free.

Accommodation

We live on the first floor of a building, not far from the city centre (15min walk). The house is very cosy and bright and there is a small garden with a trampoline for the children. The aupair will have her own brand new apartment with independent access, bathroom, a kitchenette and a terrace. Wifi connection is available. Opposite the house there is a school that also offers Italian language courses. Nearby is the bus stop and a little further away is the metro stop. There is also a garage with bicycles.
