Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hi, Thank you for looking at our profile. We are a busy family of 4 (me - Charlotte, my husband, Ed and our two children, Flo (8) and Monty (5 - nearly 6!). Both Ed and I work full time. I am a University lecturer (English is my subject) and Ed is a local doctor. We have a dog, Rufus. We live in a village on the edge of the Cotswolds. The village is quite quiet but does have a shop, a pub, a church and bus connections. We are also very close to a train station which has direct trains to London. We would like to host a Ukrainian Au-pair - mostly to give someone a safe, warm home but some extra help around the house and with the children would always be helpful!

As a family we love travelling (when the Covid rules allow!). We also love family meals (Charlotte's parents live locally and often pop over for dinner) and long walks in the countryside. Both children are active - they have swimming lessons, tennis lessons, music lessons etc. Both are at school full time (between 8.30 and 4pm).

Job Description

We are looking for someone to help with the children and the house (the dog could also be walked if that suited!). We could discuss how this worked. If you felt comfortable driving, the children could be dropped off at school and collected at the end of their day. Perhaps you could also help with some shopping and errands and/or some preparing of meals, washing etc.
