We are seeking a mature, emotionally intelligent, and well-educated au pair to care for our two daughters, aged 12 and 8. The ideal candidate will be dependable, proactive, and thoughtful—someone who brings not only warmth and kindness but also a structured and mindful approach to childcare.

Your role will be a meaningful one: to support our daughters’ well-being, independence, and development while becoming a trusted part of their daily lives.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Daily Pick-ups & Activity Coordination: Picking the girls up from school and driving them safely to and from extracurricular activities, appointments, or outings. Punctuality and good driving habits are essential.

Academic Support: Assisting with homework, organizing school materials, and helping the girls stay on top of their academic responsibilities—without doing the work for them. We believe in fostering curiosity, discipline, and a love for learning.

Healthy Meal Preparation: Cooking simple, balanced meals and snacks with a focus on organic, whole foods. You’ll be expected to follow our household’s healthy eating principles and involve the children when possible to promote good habits and independence.

Structured Weekly Planning: Creating a rhythm to their days that includes outdoor activities, creative projects, reading time, and age-appropriate intellectual and emotional stimulation. We deeply value routines that balance activity with calm, fun with responsibility.

Tidy & Organized Environment: Ensuring the children’s rooms, play areas, and belongings are clean, organized, and well-maintained. Encouraging the girls to participate in this process is key to teaching them ownership and responsibility.

Emotional Presence & Guidance: Being a calm, consistent, and supportive presence. We expect you to be a role model—guiding the girls gently, encouraging their autonomy, and helping them manage emotions, resolve conflicts, and grow into kind, resilient individuals.

We are looking for someone who is independent and intuitive, able to make sound decisions in the best long-term interest of the children—not simply to please them in the moment. You should be confident setting gentle boundaries, modeling respectful behavior, and communicating openly with both the children and us as parents.
