Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

My name is Sam. I'm 44 years old and a single mother by choice to two donor conceived girls; Maya (3) and Cleo (18 months). I decided to go it alone after not meeting the right partner by my late 30s.

I am looking for a live in aupair as I sometimes have to work from London so need someone on hand to help me look after the girls and to keep them entertained.

We live almost at the heart of Brighton in Kemptown, walking distance to lots of attractions including 5 mins from the beach, 5 mins from Pavilion gardens and also 5-10 mins walk into the centre of town.

Job Description

You may be needed to do morning wake up and drop offs/pick ups, look after the girls on their days off nursery (currently Thurs and Friday), as well as some times at the weekend so I can take a break from being the sole parent. As they go to nursery for 30 hours a week, working hours for you may be from 25-35 hours but I am flexible.

You will need to already have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship.

Accommodation

We live in a 5 storey townhouse which is ideal for having an aupair. We live on the top 4 floors normally and the basement can be a self contained one bedroom flat. Your room is in this part of the house which also connects to the main house but also has its own entrance, kitchenette, bathroom and living area. The living area in this part is also a play room but can be used as your own personal living space whenever the kids are not around. House has high speed broadband throughout. In the self contained flat there is a washing machine and dishwasher separate to the main house.
