Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Our location is about to change in September/October. We are moving to the Seattle area, specifically the Kitsap peninsula. This will open up agency options immensely. We will be near to larger towns and, very close to a village called Poulsbo which is quite adorable. Any candidates interested in beginning their 12 months through an agency could begin communication and if we are a good fit could apply for visa once we move into our new home and can host agency representatives for a house visit.

We are a growing family and while my parents help a lot, we really need full time support to keep our precocious 3.5 year old entertained and supervised around our farm. We have a 3 month old baby who requires most of my wife’s time and attention. We have 80 acre near the snake River as well as other properties in Idaho. Trips to LA would be likely, and perhaps to Washington and Colorado as well to see family. Also hoping to be able to visit Europe/Hawaii/Azores once we have an au pair who can help facilitate that.

Very active and intelligent 3.5 year old boy. Hoping to have help ASAP, but specifically around September of 2024 when his current full-time nanny will be going back to school. Help with meal prep, tidying his room, laundry, grocery runs etc. but mainly just o have an extra set of eyes and someone who is engaged and loving with him that can draw, read books, play in the ponds and field, build blocks and allow him to exercise his imagination and explore while also staying safe.

Au Pair can stay in the main house in separate floor with room and bathroom, and a separate sliding door entrance out to the back yard. Au pair would also have a dedicated vehicle available to her at all times.
