Work abroad in Geraldine's family for 3-12 Months starting from Jan 2024 as an Au Pair to take care of 2 children of 0 - 1 year old, 1 - 5 years old & 6 - 10 years old in Montauban, Occitanie France

As I have to go back to work, I need someone to help me out with the kids, probably drop them off in the morning to preschool and pick them up in the afternoon and look after them until my husband or I come back from work. During weekends we don’t consider our au pair as a “working girl”, she can have free times, leisures and enjoy whatever she likes. Moreover I would say, she will be part of our family as a big sister who take care of the kids few hours during the week and if she wants to spend time with us as a family member we would be very delighted. As a consequence we won’t ask our au pair to do the housework tasks but just to participate as a family member.
Next summer our little girl will have spent 3 years in an international school and she would speak easily English. We wish her to keep it going and we really want our au pair to speak ONLY English with our kids even when they are outside. Probably this is the most expectation that we have. In this way we don’t ask her for a specific level in French or other language and we are totally ok to teach her some French.

During the week here is our routine:
-7/7:30 : kids wake up
- 7:30 : kids breakfast
- 8:00 : time to dress up
- 8:20 : time to go to school
- 3:50 pm : time to pick up kids at school
- 4 pm : snack at home
- 4:30/6:00 pm : play time
- 6:00 pm : bath
- 7:00 pm : diner
- 8:00 pm : time to go to bed
Usually my husband come back from work around 6 pm, and me around 7 pm.

On weekends it can be different from one to another. We can relax, take advantage of the weather and going outside ...
We expect our au pair to (only during the week) :
- give breakfast to our kids, dress them up and drop them off to school
- pick them up from school
- give them snack at home
- play with them until the end of the afternoon
- shower them
- sometimes if it’s necessary help with cooking (simple and easy)

She will have to work 2 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the afternoon (more or less) 5 days a week.
We plan to pay her as a minimum wage minus food and accommodation.
