Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

We live in the suburb outside Washington DC. We are within 20-30 minutes by train / car to the city center.
We have 1 child. Tomas who just turned 1. We are hoping to find a good long term fit. For multiple years. To help him grow and develop and get ready for the school system. We live in a new construction neighborhood whereby we walk around the neighborhood between 1/2 to 1 mile each time. We hope to find someone who’s bilingual. Either Spanish or English as the primary language with the other as a secondary language.

We are looking for someone who can be a full time live in nanny to allow my wife and i the opportunity to focus on our careers and job growth. We want someone who is proficient and willing to do some meal prep and minor household chores like laundry and tidying up both in Tomas room but on the main level of the home where you’ll spend most of the day.

Accommodation

You will have your own room and share the hall bath with Tomas (at this time he just uses for bath time) So it’s pretty much a private bath for you. We have 4 level townhouse so you can escape to the 4th level if you want to watch shows, be alone while we’re on the second level or in our bedroom.
