Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

The university town of Camerino is in a beautiful mountain area surrounded by a great view from almost anywhere. The house is technically within city limits, but to get to the center is about a twenty minute walk (uphill!) or a few stops by bus, which is very close by. The downtown area took a hit from the earthquake, so for locals and business, life is not what it once was but it is re-building itself. Still, there are students from all over the world here and regular events for non-students alike. Ancona, which is the by the sea and a nice beach getaway for a day trip, is about an hour from here, just like the famous pilgrim and tourist town of Assisi.

Job Description

There is no one specific thing or task necessary, but as is the case with children it is a bit of everything. Simply put, I'm looking for an independent, creative, patient and obviously reliable person to help out. Languages are an important aspect of education I really want the girls to develop, which is why I decided on au-pair. I grew up bilingual with German and English and it impacted my whole life for the better. However, alone it's a bit difficult to teach them 3 languages. I am fluent kn Italian and speak it with my friends, at home I speak German and English with the kids (and dog). Cooking would be a shared task and I won't be needing any help with the animals, unless you would like to take the dog for walks, which I'm sure he would like :) What we have here is a green spot close to town where you can either enjoy the scenery in your spare time - or with the girls - expand your language skills, and bring us a bit of your home to ours. We are looking forward to meeting you!

Accommodation

There is a fully equipped apartment with a separate entrance in the house where you can have your own private space. Only for rare occasions when friends come to visit for about a week at a time, perhaps 3 times a year, will I kindly ask you to stay in the spare room in the house with me and the girls. Or you can take vacation during this time. You can use the kitchen in the main house whenever you want.
