Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

We are two professionals who are trying to balance our work and our family. We recently welcomed our beautiful baby boy who will be one in 2025 and we would love a friendly au pair to help look after him.

If you can speak Mandarin to him that would be a huge bonus!

We live in beautiful Brisbane, the capital city of Queensland. We are about one hour from the Gold Coast, and one and a half hours to the Sunshine Coast. These have the most beautiful beaches and hikes in the world.

Job Description

We work from 8-4 so please be around from 730am-430pm

Expectations for au pair:
- Living in an apartment 12-15 minutes away from our home, please drive to our home and get there before we leave for work
- During the day, please baby sit our baby.

We do not expect any domestic help with things irrelevant to our baby- please clean and tidy up after playing and feeding. We use cloth nappies, please help wash these and hang them up to dry, and put them away.

- In the evenings, you are welcome to stay for dinner, or go back to the apartment then

We will provide a car, petrol allowance, cost of groceries. All utilities (electricity, water, phone bill and internet) will be covered.

On your days off you are free to use the car to explore
