Work abroad in Nancy's family for 2-12 Months starting from May 2025 as an Au Pair to take care of 4 children of 1 - 5 years old, 6 - 10 years old & 11 - 14 years old in Cantley, Quebec Canada

Your Role as Our Au Pair

As our au pair, your main responsibility will be helping with the care of our younger children, especially Joey (7) and Adriano (3), during weekday afternoons and when I travel for work. Here’s a general overview of what your typical duties will include:
• Childcare:
• Pick up Adriano from daycare in the afternoons.
• Supervise and care for Joey and Adriano after school/daycare, including playtime, snacks, and helping with routines.
• Occasionally help with Francesco and Liliana, though they are quite independent.
• Care for the children when I travel for work, including mornings and evenings if needed (travel dates will always be shared well in advance).
• Meals & Lunches:
• Help prepare simple lunches and snacks for the kids.
• Occasionally help with breakfast or dinner when I’m traveling or working late.
• Light Housekeeping:
• Help tidy up common areas and the children’s play spaces.
• Assist with laundry for the kids.
• Keep the kitchen clean after meals and snacks.
• Other Expectations:
• Be reliable, responsible, and communicative—especially when I’m away.
• Be warm and positive with the kids while helping maintain routines and boundaries.
• Share your culture and be open to ours—we love learning about new traditions, languages, and foods!
