Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Having an Aupair join our family is nothing new for us. We've had quite a few Aupairs over the last 7 years (mainly from Spain and Italy) and most normally stay for for at least a year. Our Aupair at the moment (Elizabeth (or Eli for short) is from Spain) now has to return to Spain soon, after being here 3 years, It's time for her to restart her career and we will be sorry to see her leave. If you want to Speak to Eli about the job, the house etc then this can easily be arranged via Skype.Having an Aupair works well for everybody as I get some help with the kids and the Aupair gets to experience a different way of life and learn English.

We would welcome someone who is looking to have a new experience and be part of the family. It's a very relaxed atmosphere at our house and although some days it will be busy, normally it's pretty calm.
We are quite good at helping Aupairs with learning English and would also enrole you in a local private English school, all of previous Aupairs have gone to this school and been very happy. The which is quite close to our home.
We travel quite bit and you would be invited to join us if you wished to come along. We do visit a second home in Spain (Tarifa Town) quite a lot and laze on the Beach, Swim, lunch and windsurf etc etc all very relaxed.
We also ski in Switzerland and France in the winter months and then normally go to Islands in Indian Ocean for a warmer beach holiday (at least once a year).
If you like travelling to new places then our family may be great for you.

Job Description

This particular job of aupair is slightly different than the average one, mainly because we won't have the children at the house every day except maybe during the holidays. They do stay with their mother about 50% of the week. So it's busy some days and then there days of peace.
When then children are here it can be busy. When they are not here it's calmer. This gives you free time to study or go explore the city/country.
It works out pretty good for everybody

As our Aupair you will be collecting the kids from school (which is quite close to the house) and there is a car provided for this (therefore you will need a driving license) and then help them with their homework (if posssible). Also you'll need to be able to cook.
There is house work involved, cooking, cleaning, ironing and shopping.

The salary is £120/week. I provide the accommodation, food and the car.

We try to keep it pretty relaxed at the house during the school time and then try to get away on holidays as much as possible-If you need any more information please just ask.
