Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Our family lives in a small but active community 50 minutes from the city of St. Louis. We live on a golf course in Carlyle and are less than a mile walk from a large lake with many recreational activities. In Carlyle we have a fully furnished apartment less than a mile from our house that you can stay in. We also have an apartment in the Soulard neighborhood of St Louis so we visit the city quite often. You will be able to use our city apartment in your off time as well. St Louis is an amazing city with great restaurants, museums, concerts, sporting events, etc. Carlyle is like “Friday Night Lights” meets “Gilmore Girls”. It is your quintessential small town and we have many friends and large families that we would love to integrate you in with.

Job Description

You will watch our 2 year old son from 8–5 most days from Monday through Thursday and then 8-2:30 on Fridays. We both work in sales and some days one or both to us will come home for lunch and my wife will sometimes work from home but you are responsible for caring for William from 8-5 most days. William is a great kid always down for any sport, singing a song, dance parties and a good cuddle.
