Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

We are a family of three: Mom Camilla, Dad Francesco and little Aurora.
We are happy to welcome you as part of our family and entrust you with our little Aurora, whom you will be taking care of.

We ask you to look after Aurora with various activities throughout the day (e.g., changing her, picking her up from kindergarten, playing with her in the afternoon, taking her to the swimming pool). We ask you to do this by being yourself—serious and responsible but also trying to have fun at the same time.

We live in a town in the Milan hinterland, surrounded by parks and a river, yet well connected to the city.

We will probably ask you to join us on some weekend trips around Italy, and in July, you may travel with us to southern Italy, to Vaglio Basilicata (the town where Mom Camilla was born and raised before moving to Milan for university).

At home, you will have your own room, but you will share the bathroom with us.
