Hello!

We are an American-Croatian family living in Ireland (right outside of Dublin in a town called Celbridge). Our names are Kaylee and Marko and we have two little boys, Luka (3y) and Kane (1y). Both of our boys were born in Bosnia and lived in Sarajevo until this past summer. It is so important to us that they maintain their Croatian language skills and bilingual ability while we live in an English speaking country!

We made the move to Ireland so Marko could complete his Masters degree at University College Dublin - Kaylee works at Microsoft in a remote job. We also own a Pilates Reformer studio near by our home, and Kaylee is an Pilates instructor at the studio as well. We have fallen in love with ireland and will be here to stay! Because of our busy schedule with the studio and work, we are hopeful to find a Croatian speaking Au Pair to assist with child care.

Luka and Kane are such fun and brilliant boys. Their current nanny is also from Croatia but has a job opportunity beginning in the spring that leaves us hopeful to transition to having an Au Pair.

We have two vehicles, so there would be opportunity to take the children places as well as plenty to do near our home. We live in a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home with a backyard and playroom. You would have your own bedroom of course, as well as sharing an upstairs bathroom with the children (they only use it for bath time anyway :) ). We also have a home Pilates Reformer machine and treadmill if fitness is something important to you! Of course, membership at our Pilates studio would also be free to you!

We are seeking an Au Pair who is creative with crafts and learning approaches as well as open to getting outside and enjoying what sunny days Ireland has to offer. Weekends are yours for the taking, unless we discuss ad-hoc assistance for certain circumstances. As we often visit the Balkans to see family, coordinating travel home for you would be agreed upon as well.
