I am a senior man, living alone in Chapala, Jalisco, Mexico. My home is located about 45 minutes' drive from an international airport. Chapala is the seat of government for the municipality that includes several pueblos, the most notable which is Ajijic, approximately 5 km distant. My home is located within easy walking distance of the main business district, the Malecon and is a five-minute walk to the main bus station.

Though I am not in need of care currently, I am interested in building a relationship with a care provider now that no emergency exists. I am active and volunteer with the Lake Chapala Society in Ajijic. I attend events there and at the Lakeside Unitarian Universalist Fellowship. I retired from work as a cartographer in 2018. I moved to Mexico fulltime in 2023. My Spanish fluency is intermediate and I am working to improve. It would be helpful if you knew Spanish but this is not required. Equally, facility in English is desirable but not required.

I eat well, and mostly whole foods and organic when available. I am an omnivore, but you need not be. I live in a condominio with a very tranquil and agreeable group of people, some Mexicans, some Americans and some Canadians.
