Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello, my name is Yi. I live with my wife, Lisa, and our two sons in the big city of Chengdu. We can all speak English at some level, so if you don’t speak Chinese, it’s not a problem!

Last year, we had Armenian and South African Au Pairs who stayed with us for six months each. Our whole family really enjoyed this experience!

We are looking for an Au Pair to keep an eye on our younger son, William, who is 7 years old. He is an active boy who enjoys playing basketball, going for walks, taking photos, drawing, and riding his bike. Our older son is 9 years old, but the Au Pair will not need to take care of him.

Job Description

The Au Pair DOES NOT need to cook, clean, wash dishes, bathe, or feed our son!

We hope our Au Pair will become like a big sister or brother to William—taking him to school and picking him up after classes, helping him with his English homework, taking him to the playground, and speaking with him in English to improve his listening and speaking skills.

Au Pair Schedule:

7:30 – Take William to school
8:00 –17:00 – Free time for the Au Pair
17:00 – Pick William up from school
18:30 – Have dinner together
19:00 – Help William with homework and play games
21:00 – William goes to bed, and the Au Pair can rest
