We are thrilled to welcome you into our family as an au pair! Below, we’d like to share some details about our household, expectations, and the vibrant city of Chengdu to help you envision your life here.

About Our Family

Our little boy was born in May 2023. He is curious, energetic, and ready to explore the world with a caring companion like you.

​Father: Works in finance, holds a management degree from Penn State University (2012–2016), speaks conversational Japanese, and loves cross-cultural exchanges.

​Mother: A pediatric psychologist at one of China’s top hospitals, passionate about child development and mental health.

We’ve traveled to over 10 countries and value cultural diversity. Our priority is to nurture our son’s language skills (English focus) and global perspective from an early age.

Your Role

​Primary Focus: Engage our son through play, conversation, and age-appropriate activities. We hope you’ll share your language, stories, and creativity with him.
​Caregiving: Light assistance (e.g., occasional babysitting, mealtime support) as needed.
​Cultural Exchange: We’d love to learn about your culture while introducing you to Chinese traditions, festivals, and daily life.

What We Offer

​Accommodation: A private 15m² bedroom in our 210m² home, located in a safe, modern neighborhood.

​Exploration: Flexibility to study, travel, or experience Chengdu during your free time. We’re happy to recommend local gems!

​Support: Assistance with logistics, language barriers, and adapting to life in China.
