it’sme, Elisa, Enrico my husband, and our girls Olivia, 7 years old, and Nina, 3 years old. We live in Chiavari, a beautiful town on the Ligurian sea which is located between Portofino and the 5 Terre.

We hosted an au pair last year and it was so a wonderful experience that we would like to repeat!

Job Description

We would like the au pair to participate in family life to create as close a relationship of trust and friendship as possible

The summer period is always a bit variable, but here’s what it could be:

- until the end of June, the girls will be going to school/summer school, so I'll need you to help get them ready in the morning. Usually, the grandmothers pick them up from school around 3:30 PM and keep them for a couple of hours. I might need your help sometimes to take or pick them up from school (by bike or walking) if the grandmothers can't, and assistance me until dinnertime. You can either stay at home to play or go to the park nearby, or go to the beach. I usually get home around 5:30-6 PM, and we have dinner by 7:30 PM.
On weekends, we take things easy! We get ready in the morning, and if the weather is nice, maybe we'll organize to eat at the beach or somewhere outdoors, or at home if the weather is bad!

-July/August/early September: Plans for this period aren't confirmed yet. In the morning, the girls will be with the grandmothers or doing some activities. I'll need help with getting them ready and accompanying them. In the afternoon, the girls will be with you, you can go to the beach (we usually go to a beach club where many of our friends go) or go get ice cream and take a bike ride or scooter ride. I'll arrive around 5-5:30 PM.

We are still a flexible family, and last year, we worked with our au pair to find solutions that worked well for everyone!

The au pair will have 1 or 2 day off per week which we will agree together, according to her preferences (one could be Sunday), to discover our beautiful country!

If the au pair is interested we can evaluate an increase in hours with a corresponding increase in compensation.
