Hello and welcome!

We are a lovely, warm family looking to welcome a visitor into our home.

We have four beautiful children: two sets of twins Tom and Tabby (both 11, nearly 12) and Teddy and Tally (both 9, nearly 10).

They are really nice, kind, affectionate kids, who are really quite grownup and responsible for their ages. Dad (Harry) works from home and helps with housework etc. Mum is also always around, but she has some health challenges which means she can't be very physically hands-on - that's why we need you!

Your role will be mostly helping with cleaning, laundry, food preparation etc. The children are old enough that they don't need hands-on childcare: they'll make their own beds, help tidy away after meals, etc. They'll also absolutely love having a 'big sister' in the house - so prepare to be adored.

You'll work about 20-25 hours a week - mostly first thing in the morning (7.30 to 9.30, getting the kids off to school) and afternoons / evenings (2-3 hours some days, completely free other days.)

We won't usually need you at weekends at all, and will work with you to develop a work-schedule that gives you space to achieve your other dreams.

You'll have your own private apartment - completely separate from the main house and with its own front door. Your bathroom and kitchen are within the apartment, so you can be completely private when you're off duty.

We live in a beautiful village in a lovely part of Oxfordshire. We're 10 minutes away from the nearest small town, 20 minutes from the nearest big one (Banbury) and 30 minutes from Oxford itself. If you're coming to the UK to improve your English, there are excellent language schools in both Banbury and Oxford.

Oh yes: and because we live in a village, you really will need to be able to drive. (We can supply the car.) The roads are quiet and easy, but there's essentially no public transport.
