Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

We are a family of six. We would like our children to learn to speak English. We live in a village in the province of Verona, about 15 km from the city. There is a bus stop near our house and a train station about 1 km away.

Job Description

We are an Italian family living in Verona and we’re looking for an English-speaking au pair for the summer months (July and August). Our goal is to give our children natural and regular exposure to the English language in a relaxed and friendly environment.

We offer room and board, along with a small allowance in cash. This is not a formal job, so we are not offering a work contract, but rather a cultural and language exchange experience.

The children will attend a summer camp for a few weeks, and the rest of the time they will mostly be at home. We are also planning a family holiday during the summer, as well as short weekend trips to places like Venice, Lake Garda, and around Verona.

We are looking for someone who enjoys spending time with children, speaks fluent English, and is interested in experiencing Italian family life and culture.
