Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello - we are the 's, we live in Upper Arlington, OH. A suburb of Columbus, OH that is about 15 minutes from downtown Columbus and 10 minutes from The Ohio State University. This is one of the largest college campuses in the U.S. I am a single father with 4 beautiful, active, and fun loving children. This is a unique situation because the children will only be in the home 1/2 the time. When they are here it's active and loud, on days they aren't here I catch up on work, chores, and sleep!

Job Description

I'm looking for extra hands on the days my children are here, someone who can help driving to and from school and various activities is key. We need someone who can be patient, kind, and loving to my children, but also has the backbone to enforce basic house manners and rules. My kids are very curious about other cultures, they have Grandparents from Ghana and are always asking questions. Someone who can come and teach them about a new culture and a possibly a new language is a plus!

We also need someone who is cleanly and organized, who can help them understand chores and keep things tidy around the house. We need someone who is active and fun loving who will explore with the children. We don't watch much TV, and prefer music and the outdoors, although we have a weekly movie night. I know my daughters will love someone who knows how to braid hair so extra bonus there.

Accommodation

We have a 4 bed room house with a full basement. Our Aupair will get thier own spacious room and possibly access to thier own bathroom, otherwise they will share a large bathroom with the kids, but not adults. If you can drive I will most likely purchase an extra car or a street legal golf cart (common in our neighborhood) to get around.
