Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Dear Au Pair,

We are so excited to meet you! We hope that you can one day be a part of our family. To introduce ourselves, we are a young couple with two boys, ages 5 and 7, and two dogs. Our home is situated in the central area of Mexico City. We like to travel to our vacation home on the weekends and we love to travel in general. In the past we have had two Au Pairs, one from France and another from the U.S. If you have any questions regarding our family and our day-to-day lives, please don't hesitate to ask. Job Description

The role of our Au Pair is to nanny for 4-6 hours per day in the afternoons when the children are back from school. Nannying will mostly consist of entertaining the kids and hanging out with them, as most other childcare duties including cooking, cleaning, laundry, bathing, etc. is taken care of by other family members and house staff. Weekends are available for the Au Pair to explore the city, although we would like to invite her join us at our vacation home on occasion. Ideally our Au Pair will teach the children English in a way that is creative and fun for the kids. The culture and language exchange aspect of the Au Pair position is important for our kids and our family. If you are someone who likes to be engaged and active when working with kids, this is the experience for you!
