Hi, ??

We are the family. My husband Steve runs his own business and I (Kate) am a hospital doctor working in ObGyn. We have 3 lovely and lively kids, Beth (9), Alex (7 in July) and Luke (4 in August). We live in a pretty rural spot surrounded by trees, fields and horses but only 5 minutes away from the town of Horsham and 30mins from bustling Brighton and the coast (accessible by bus and train). We are also less than an hour from London by train.

We are looking for someone to join our family to support us in taking care of our home and children. Steve and I have worked part time to allow us to be here for our kids whilst they were very small but with Luke starting school in September we both feel it’s time to increase our working hours so we need help getting the kids to and from school and attending to them after school. Ideally we are looking for someone who is also willing to help with domestic chores such as cooking, cleaning, tidying and laundry and maybe occasional evening babysitting so that Steve and I can get out together more often.
Weekends would be your own but you would be of course welcome to spend time with us if you prefer.
We would prefer someone with a reasonably sound grasp of English and a decent amount of experience dealing with young children; we are quite open to the idea of an older au pair for the lived experience they can bring but happy to consider anyone with strong family values. We are a non smoking household and wish to remain so.
