Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

We live just south of Adelaide city, about 5kms from the CBD. There are regular buses from 3 stops close to our house. We live within walking distance of 3 parks and 1km from a supermarket, pharmacy, gym, fast food and cheap retail store. School is a 1km walk, kindergarten is a 500m walk and daycare is a 4 minute drive. Within less than a 5 minute drive there are local fast food stores, cafes, restaurants, salons, post office and other services like dentists, chiropractors and physiotherapists.

Job Description

We're looking for help before and after work, 4 days per week. Making breakfast, getting kids dressed and bags/lunches packed for the day. We will do drop off on our way to work. Picking up the kids from kindy/daycare and unpacking bags/lunchboxes. Preparing dinner 4 nights per week. Having the kids for one entire work day. Babysitting either one evening during the week or a few hours over the weekend for date night or other things that we may have on. Doing the kids laundry, tidying and cleaning the house (wiping down kitchen, kids bathroom, etc.).

Accommodation

We have a large new home and you will have your own room with private ensuite, built in wardrobes, unlimited wifi and TV with streaming services. The kids have their own bathroom and playroom, as well as bedrooms. The kitchen, living and dining is open plan. We have a butler’s pantry and separate laundry. We have a double garage, 2 cars, large shed, grassed backyard, swimming pool and alfresco bbq area. We have an indoor gym and office that seats 3 if you are studying. The house has fully ducted heating and air-conditioning and your room is separately controlled. Our living and outdoor areas are north facing, so always warm and sunny.
