Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello everyone-- we have already found an aupair! ---
Dear future au-pair, Kedves Pályázó!

We are a family of four with two little girls: 1.5 and 3.5 years old. As you can imagine, there is always something going on in our house! That's why we are looking for you to help us look after the two girls and take care of the household. Paula and Luise go to kindergarten until the afternoon. Your job would be to help us manage everyday life with the two of them: helping to make breakfast in the morning, getting the children dressed, taking them to kindergarten, tidying up, picking them up in the afternoon and occasionally looking after them in the evening when we go dancing (our great passion). Since we already had an au pair for a year, we now know much better how to support us. However, we also know that you are good at certain things and perhaps not so good at others - so we would simply discuss things together in the beginning and see how you can best help us.

We live in a large city close to the centre, so you can cycle to the language school (about 10 minutes). Public transport can be reached in a few minutes and will take you everywhere. Our neighbourhood is young and lively. There are several small parks and playgrounds, many cafés and shops.

Job Description

Your job would be to help us manage everyday life with the two of them: helping to make breakfast in the morning, getting the children dressed, taking them to the kindergarten, tidying up, picking them up in the afternoon and occasionally looking after them in the evening when we go dancing (our great passion, as mentioned above). Since we already had an au pair for a year, we now know much better how to support us. However, we also know that you are good at certain things and perhaps not so good at others - so we would simply discuss things together in the beginning and see how you can best help us.

We are looking for an au pair who is open, helpful, communicative and friendly, who would like to look after children and has sufficient knowledge of German (or Hungarian) to be able to communicate with them. You should also be tidy and willing to help us around the house. And last but not least - as the kids love to wake up early, you should also be an early bird ;)
