Dear Au Pair,

We are a lively family of four - soon to be five - residing in the city of Düsseldorf, Germany. Our home is a blend of German and Dutch cultures, where German is the language we speak at home. We are parents to two amazing daughters aged 2 and 5 and are expecting a third in March. I work as a doctor, and my husband is in business, making our lives both busy and fulfilling.

Our girls are bubbly and active, attending nearby childcare which they absolutely adore. As a family, we cherish the outdoors and are always keen on planning exciting trips and activities. Our interests include rock climbing, swimming, running, and engaging in various kid-friendly activities. Travel is our passion, and we love exploring new places together.

Our daughters have a wide array of interests - from cycling, drawing, and baking, to swimming, puzzles, and playing fantasy games. They have a special unprompted fondness for glitter and unicorns, and their enthusiasm for learning and exploring is boundless.

We are on the lookout for an au pair who is eager to become a part of our family life. Your role would primarily involve caring for our girls, which includes babysitting, accompanying them to and from childcare, and participating in their myriad of activities. During night shifts at the hospital or my husband's business trips abroad, we would also require some extra help with the girls. Of course there will be plenty of free time for your own activities or for language courses.

Our home is situated in a part of Düsseldorf surrounded by parks, playgrounds, and even the forest is not far. The city center is just a short bicycle ride or public transport trip away. We are fortunate to have a garden, adding a touch of nature to our urban dwelling.
