Dear au pair,

We would like to introduce you – as a potential new au pair – to our family.

We are a family with two children, and both parents work. My husband is German; he works full-time as a management consultant and also travels a lot. I am Maltese and my native language is English; I am a hotel manager and work part-time.

Marie is 8 years old and will turn 9 in November. She will start fourth grade at primary school this summer.

Max is 6 years old, and we will turn 7 in January, and as from summer, he will also start attending the same primary school as Marie.

Both children were born in Malta and speak German and English (I speak English with them). They are healthy, lively, and outgoing.

We live in a very nice neighborhood in Düsseldorf Oberkassel; all amenities (primary school, kindergarten, shops, subway station) are within walking distance.

You will be expected to help us with all childcare and household chores and be available for flexible hours.

We are a modern, demanding family who leads a healthy, active, and athletic lifestyle. Therefore, we are looking for a committed, active au pair with a positive, open personality who is friendly, smiling, and athletic.
