Work abroad in Marie Claire's family for 6-12 Months starting from Jan 2025 as an Au Pair to take care of 2 children of 6 - 10 years old & 11 - 14 years old in Deebing Heights, Queensland Australia

As I am a shift worker, the requirements will change depending on my roster.
When I work night shift, the main requirement is that you will be the responsible adult in the house while I am at work. The children will be in bed or ready for bed before I leave, and I will be home in the morning to take them to school. Assist to settle them into bed (for example, read a book to George) and to assist with breakfast and getting ready for school in the morning. I do sleep during the day while the children are at school so I will need the house to be relatively quiet, but you are free to come and go as you please.

If I work morning shift I will leave the house between 0330am & 0500am. The requirement will be to get the children ready for school and to drive them to school. I will be finished work in time to pick the children up from school. After you have dropped the children to school, you are free to enjoy the day as you please.

If I work afternoon shift the requirement would be to pick the children up after school, take them to any afternoon activities as required, feed them dinner and get them ready for bed. (Please note, I don't work many afternoon shifts.) This would be the most assistance required.

The kids are pretty well behaved and are mostly able to complete personal hygiene tasks. For example the can dress them selves, clean their teeth and brush their hair, bath/shower etc. Sometimes George needs prompting to complete a task but is self-sufficient in being able to do the task.

Other responsibilities would be just to assist with some tidying up after the children.
I do have a car available for use. You will need a driver's licence.

You will have weekends off.
