Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello!

We are a couple in our mid forties with one boy who just turned 5 years old.
Both my husband and I were born in Europe (Hungary and France) so even though English is the main language spoken at home, you may hear French or Hungarian regularly as we are teaching our native languages to our son as well.

We live in a 4 bedroom townhome with a swimming pool in the middle of a golf community.
Our neighborhood is quiet and safe, about 15 minutes to the beach and 30 minutes by train or car to Fort Lauderdale. There are many restaurants and shops around and a train station within 15 minute walking distance.

We have only one child, a 5 year old boy named Julian.
As many boys his age, he is very active and always willing to play.
He goes to school every day from 8 to 5.30 so the job would entail taking care of him in the evenings, on week ends and during days when the school is close.
Part of the job is also taking care of the house and help with cooking.

You will have your own bedroom with a king bed on a different floor than the other bedrooms.
