Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hi!
We are an Australian/Spanish family of 3, Nathan is Australian, Amaia is Basque/Spanish and then there is our daughter Mia who is 3. We live in San Sebastián (northern Spain). We are a trilingual family since we live in the Basque country , we will love to show you the Basque culture.
We are looking for someone that could help us out looking after our little one during the summer months, taking her to the swimming pool, beach or any of the multiple events that are going on during the summer months.
We are down to earth, and looking for someone responsible , open minded, cheerful and patient. We are searching for someone with experience with looking after kids that is creative and active. We don't do screen times and playing and being active with the kids is a must.

Job Description

We are looking for an Au pair that will fit into our family and become a member of it. We want someone who is open and honest about who they are, as this what we try to teach Mia. Mia can get quite attached, so it is important that the person we choose can lead by example. Also this is the reason that we will treat you like family as Mia will see you as such! ?

We have small seafood restaurant in the harbour of San Sebastián, so working in hospitality our routine is not as rigid as most other people. Considering this flexibility is important to us, when choosing the right person.

Our apartment has 2 bedrooms, one main bedroom for ourselves (Mia sleeps with us still), with the other designated as Mia's bedroom. Mia has said she is very happy to have her new friend use her bedroom when they come and stay with us. We have 2 toilets, small balcony and terrace that overlooks the city.
