Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello. We are already looking for our 8th au pair.
We are a cheerful and open-minded family with two boys.
With us you can improve your German skills, get to know more about our culture and we love that you become part of our family.
We treat you like a family member and not like a employee because we are searching more for a „sister“ for our boys..
Important: good level of english + dog experience :), german skills are not that importtant - only if you need a Aupair Visa (USA/UK)

Job Description

We always have a weekly plan where you know exactly when we need you or when you have time to go on excursions and get to know our region. Weekend is normally free.

Your tasks in our house are not things that are very heavy because the boys are in an independent age.
That tasks are possible: waking up the boys and take care that they go to school, feed the dogs, cooking lunch for Dominic (not that difficult meals and Philipp eat in school) , loading and unloading the dishwasher, turning on the robot vacuum cleaner, clearing the table or tidying up after the children have played, help with children's clothes, play with the dogs. Also take Philipp to sports.

You can go traveling in you Freetime, we like the idea to give you the chance to see a lot in Germany or maybe also close to Germany ☺️ We will support you in your plans as much as we can. We expect that you are honest and punctual and that problems are addressed.

Accommodation

We live on the outskirts of Dortmund opposite a nature reserve/forest. We have a house with lots of space and a garden. It's only 15 minutes by bus to the city center. Your private area is upstairs in our house. You also have your own bathroom.
Because of our job as host fathers, we also have a second house in the southeast of North Rhine-Westphalia. We call it “the middle of nowhere.” If you go there with us, you will have a nice room there too.
