Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

We are a family of three living in vibrant Dubai: two parents and our one-year-old son, Musa. He is fun, smart, and very intuitive—we love watching him discover the world around him! We’re looking for someone who can not only care for Musa but also help guide him through the daily learning programs we have in place to spark his curiosity and development.

During most of the year, we reside in Dubai, surrounded by diverse cultures, modern architecture, and endless attractions. However, we spend our summers away at our beach home in another country, where we hope you’ll join us. It’s a great chance to experience a different environment and continue our routine in a relaxed, beach-side setting.

As parents, we believe in a nurturing, respectful household where open communication is key. We look forward to welcoming you into our family, sharing cultural experiences, and working together to help Musa thrive. Job Description

Responsibilities
• Childcare: Provide attentive and nurturing care for Musa, including feeding, diaper changes, bathing, and supervising nap times.
• Daily Learning Program: Implement and support the daily educational activities and play-based learning we have set forth.
• Interactive Play: Engage Musa with age-appropriate games, reading, and other stimulating activities to foster curiosity and development.
• Light Housekeeping (Child-Related): Keep Musa’s play areas, toys, and clothes tidy, and handle light laundry related to the child.
• Meal Preparation (Child-Related): Prepare nutritious snacks and meals for Musa as needed.
• Travel Support: Accompany our family during summer trips to our beach home, ensuring Musa’s routine remains consistent.

Requirements
• Experience: Prior experience caring for infants or toddlers is essential.
• Child Development Knowledge: Basic understanding of developmental milestones and early childhood education.
• Personality: Warm, patient, and engaging, with a genuine love for children.
• Communication: Good English skills (both spoken and written). Additional languages are a plus.
• Flexibility: Willing to travel with the family for extended periods (particularly during summer).
• Health & Safety: Current First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).

Work Schedule
• Full-Time: 5–6 days per week (one or two days off, depending on mutual agreement).
• Live-In: Private room and board provided.
• Exact working hours can be discussed and agreed upon based on Musa’s schedule and family needs.
