Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

A little more about our Home and Dubbo. The population is a little over 50,000 people and is considered a major Rural city that services the many outlaying towns.
We are a well regarded and popular tourism city with several attractions including the Western plains Taronga Zoo.
You can get here via plane from most major cities, train or bus or it is about a 5 hour car drive from Sydney.
Our home is located in South Dubbo, an older part of the town. It is about a 15 minute walk to the CBD or 5 minute walk to the village shopping precinct in Tamworth St.
There is a local bus service that operates throughout the city or everything is an easy drive.
Our farm is 29 kms or 20 minute drive from dubbo where we like to spend a lot of our spare time either exploring the Macquarie river which borders our property or just being in the gardens.
Whilst it has been challenging with young children we like to go camping, fishing and water skiing with friends and are looking forward to doing more of these activities as the kids grow older.
Jess also loves getting away to Sydney on Shopping trips.

Job Description

Our Au pair would ideally assist with getting the kids up and ready for daycare /school in the morning and then in the evening playing with and or assist with preparing dinner and then tidying the kitchen/Dishes etc and/or assisting with the bath and bed time routine.
Other tasks would include helping keep the play room and house tidy (putting toys etc away) and helping with laundry, washing drying and folding.
We have a weekly house cleaner so would only need to do light housework (eg sweeping floors at the end of the day/tidying after kids)

We will much appreciate up to 30 hours a week of assistance around our home and with the children.

We have on offer the apartment and full board including smart TV, internet plus a generous pocket money/allowance depending on hours and tasks performed.
We may have extra paid work (if the VISA permits) waitressing and depending on ability, there is Farm and Construction work which counts for 88 days. Please note, we will only offer this if you have previous experience in manual work.
