Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hi, welcome to our family – we’re so excited to have you with us!

We’re Irene and Athin, and we recently became parents to our firstborn son, Anthony, who is now almost 4 months old. We're absolutely loving this new chapter. With Greek and Italian roots, we value family, food, and a warm home life – all of which we can’t wait to share with you.

We live in a cozy house in Earlwood with a sunny backyard and our friendly 3-year-old Cavoodle named Grateful. You’ll have your own private room, and we hope you feel comfortable and at home here.

As business owners, we mostly work from home but need support during virtual meetings or when we're out for work. Your help will be truly appreciated as part of our daily rhythm.

We enjoy eating healthy and always have nutritious snacks on hand. There’s a great café just a block away, plenty of parks nearby, and a bus stop right on our street for easy transport.

Thank you for joining us on this journey – we look forward to learning from each other and creating a positive, supportive experience together.

Job Description

We need help with Anthony during our morning routines and throughout our work days. We will take over for the evening routines. This can include minding him when we are getting ready, and in meetings throughout the day, washing clothes, helping keep the kitchen clean, helping Anthony to learn and progress, sanitising items, defrosting frozen breast milk and feeding Anthony when required.

You will have your own bedroom with a very comfortable single fold out bed including proper mattress, a desk and a window. We only have one main bathroom in our house, so you will share it with us. We also have a spare toilet outside if needed. We have unlimited Wifi.
