Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

We are a friendly family based on the Northern Beaches, Sydney.

We have two boys (2.5 and 5), we live 5-10 minutes from the beach, have our own pool and granny flat for your accommodation.

You will have access to a car during the week and at times on the weekend. There are accessible transport options for you as well. The city is about 35 mins to 1hr away, however there are all the amenities you could want in our area - restaurants, bars, cafes, beach etc. We love the quieter Sydney lifestyle and if you like the outdoors, you will too.

Manly is much closer to us (about 25 mins) and you can catch the ferry over to the city which is a lovely way to travel.

Job Description

We have two boys aged 2 and 5. My husband works full-time and I work 4-days a week.

Our 5-year-old attends preschool 5 days a week locally for which we would need assistance dropping off and picking up. You will mainly be caring for our 2 year old 4 days a week (on occasion - 5 days), including taking him to dancing and library rhyme time. We would also like someone who can help with tidying up after the kids (although we do try to encourage them to clean up after themselves - it is a work in progress!) and cooking some meals during the week.

We have a large family home on 5-acres with a pool and a separate living space for you to stay (separate access, kitchen and bathroom - although this is shared at times). Meals will be included which you are welcome to share with the family or take some private time in your own space!
