Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

We are a family of 4, mom, dad and 2 kids, a boy of 5 and a girl of 2, that live in a rural part of the Netherlands. Our town has 25.000 inhabitants, and plenty of amenities, with several bigger cities nearby. And if you enjoy traveling, Berlin and Paris are only 4 to 5 hours away!
We enjoy healthy food, being active and outdoors. The kids love playing outside, biking, swimming, and also love things like crafts, puzzles and Lego.
Our kids are bilingual in Dutch and English, so communicating with them will be easy.
We are looking for a au pair that shares our values of healthy living, and who is able to cook healthy meals and that is proficient in English. Preferably, our au pair shares our faith, and helps us in a Christian upbringing of our kids.

Accommodation

You will have a private room in the guest house that is detached from our house. The guest house has its own bathroom, which you will share with occasional guests.
The area is known for some beautiful scenery. There is plenty of space to enjoy long walks in nature, go mountainbiking and swimming. We have several gyms in the area, as well as MTB and tennis clubs, a bmx and a wakeboard club, so plenty of choice if you enjoy sports.
Your room has a loft bed with a desk and closet space underneath. A cosy armchair and a view on the main house and garden. In the hallway you will have closet space and a coffee corner with a mini fridge.
The house faces the forest at the back, and at the front it is only a few steps to the local supermarket, a cafe and a bakery, so plenty to see and explore if you enjoy a quiet, yet touristic and very scenic envionment.
