We are a family of Japanese American mom & an American dad with three kids (8 months old girl, 10 year old boy, and 13 year old boy) living a town located in the outskirts of San Diego, California. Our neighborhood is special in that although we are 8 minutes away from a major freeway, we’re still in the country surrounded by lots of nature. We are actually starting a small vineyard! We are needing help mainly taking care of our baby girl and are looking to host an au pair with Japanese background to expose our baby girl (who is half Japanese, of course) to Japanese culture! An individual who is interested in coming to California who may also like the slow pace of living in the country would be good fit. Although the mom is Japanese-American, we of course speak English in the house so you will get lots of practice in English. The mom is fluent in Japanese if needed.
