Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello! My name is Kate and my husband Nick and I are on the lookout for our first amazing Au Pair as I have returned to full time work. We are a fun family of 5 plus our Cavoodle Ginny and Golden Retriever Winter plus our kitten Suki. We live in Essendon, Melbourne. It’s a 10 minute drive from the city or a 25 minute tram which is at the end of our street. We are surrounded by parks, cafes and shopping and close to the airport also. We are a sporty family who love to have a laugh and are very relaxed. My husband works in Australian Rules football and is at games most weekends. I work Monday to Friday so we are looking for someone to help with school drop off and pick up plus having a fun day with our 4 year old boy on a Friday. Other days he is at kinder, with his Dad on a Wednesday or his Grandparents on a Monday. We don’t need too much help apart from some light tidying after the morning rush! I will cook for you and include you as part of our family if you would like you feel free to spend your free time however you like! We have a 9 year old daughter Brontë who loves art, creating and drama and a 6 year old daughter Scout who is very active and loves her dolls and drawing. Occasionally there will be opportunities to make some extra money on weekends through babysitting too. I am happy to show you around Melbourne and will always help if needed. I have travelled so I understand it can get hard being away from family. We are so excited to find a big sister to our children and look forward to chatting more.

Accommodation

Our Au Pair will have their own large bedroom with double bed, walk in robe, couch, desk and ensuite bathroom. They will also have access to a living area/games room. Wifi/meals all included. Our family all sleep on the top floor and your room will be on the bottom. Some days there will be a car available but happy to drive you if I can and transport is at the end of our street.
