Welcome Letter to the Au Pair
We are family in rural Washington state USA. We are about 2 hours from Seattle, WA or 1.5 hours from Portland, OR as the closest major cities. "Town" is roughly 15 miles away.
We are well traveled and at one point in our lives, Christine, Michelle, additional sister, and mother lived in France. We are experienced foreign exchange student hosts and we welcome the opportunity to invite someone outside our current cultural environment into our home. We look forward to the French language being part of our household again (it has been a very long time +30 years). There is a college close by if the au pair desires English classes.
Christine works full time out of the primary residence and the grandparents are retired. We are looking to engage with cultures outside the USA and provide exposure to our family from different areas of the world.
Job Description
Care to include art, horses, sewing, cooking, language learning, self care routine, light housekeeping of child spaces (monitoring of children cleaning their own space).
Providing transportation to and from activities/school would be expected.
Smoking is not allowed in any way.

The work location is the home with Christine, grandparents, and 20 year old. Home is large with adequate space for all to include a river, woods, and pasture for horses. Mother and 6 year old live separately but care is expected to take place at the primary residence noted.
