Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello! We are a family of 3 in Cornwall and are looking for someone to help us look after our 1 year old daughter.

Our home is walking distance to the beautiful coastal town of Falmouth - home to lovely beaches and a really cute high street with loads of boutique shops and cafes. We have great coastal walks and some excellent restaurants!

In exchange for some support around the house and with our little girl, you’re welcome to use our home as a base to take advantage of this lovely part of the world. We have kayaks, surfboards and bikes to help you explore and enjoy life by the sea. Falmouth is a very artistic University town and you’ll find thriving music and art scenes as well as a couple nightclubs!

Job Description

We are looking for someone patient and kind, adventurous and playful to spend time with our little girl as we transition back into work. She’s active and always likes to be on the move so the job will likely involve beach walks, trips to the local play parks, and some soft play adventures too.

We ask that you help keep her room tidy when you’re playing in there together and that you keep your own room and bathroom reasonably tidy too.

There will likely be some very light domestic work involved - occasional vacuuming or helping with dishes after meals so we can all work together to keep the house nice.

We do not expect you to be able to drive.
