Welcome Letter to the Au Pair

Hello! We are a loving and easygoing family with two wonderful, lively boys (4 and 8 years old) and two friendly dogs. We are looking for a kind, patient, and reliable Au Pair to support us in our daily life. We live in Filderstadt, near Stuttgart, in a large house. You will have your own room and share a bathroom with the boys.

Your main tasks will be picking up the little one from daycare, helping the older one with his homework, and playing with the boys. Light household chores and occasionally cooking meals for the kids will also be part of your responsibilities. You should not be afraid of dogs, as they are an important part of our family.

You will have plenty of opportunities to learn German, and we will be happy to support you!

Job Description

You will mainly be responsible for the children in the afternoon until we return from work. Occasionally, you may also take care of them in the evening when we parents are out.

You are responsible for keeping your own room, the children’s rooms, and your shared bathroom tidy. It would be wonderful if you could also take care of the boys’ laundry. In the living and dining area, we share the cleaning tasks so that everyone helps to keep the common space tidy.

When things get busy, it would be great if you could occasionally take the dogs for a walk.

Your working hours are 30 hours per week, and your monthly pocket money is €280.

We live in a house with seven rooms, a garden, and a separate two-room apartment. Your nice room is on the third floor. On the second floor are the boys’ bedrooms and a bathroom that is used only by you and the kids. The first floor has the master bathroom, the parents’ bedroom, the office, and the walk-in closet. On the ground floor, you will find the living and dining area, the kitchen, and a guest toilet.
